Overview

The 5-star Sea Star Lodge is situated directly at the Walker Bay overlooking the Atlantic coastline of Hermanus. The lodge features a modern and spacious design.

The luxurious rooms are en-suite with spacious bedrooms and panoramic views of the ocean. Free Wi-Fi is available in each. All rooms are fitted with flat-screen LCD TV’s with satellite channels and a Nespresso machine.

A hiking trail passes by in front of the Lodge and leads to the Walker Bay Nature Reserve and 13km of untouched sandy beaches. Walking along the de Kelder cliff tops guests can enjoy some land-based whale watching from July to December.

Guests can relax in the Finnish sauna or the pool. A range of massage treatments are also on offer.

Travel information

Directions from Cape Town:

- Take the N2 towards George for 80km.
- Turn left and take the R43 towards Hermanus.
- Follow the R43 trough Hermanus and Stanford and you’ll reach de Kelders.
- Take the first entrance into de Kelders on your right
- Turn left at the first paved crossing (landmark ANLO) into the Hoof Weg (Main Road).
- Take the second road on your right and turn into Ingang Straat.
- After 200m, Sea Star Lodge is on your left.
